The admissions processes are designed to be fair, transparent, and efficient. Applicants are encouraged to review the specific eligibility criteria before applying.
Admission Requirements
Applications are submitted online through the AHSU admissions platform, and all academic documents must be notarized.
Applicants are required to submit the relevant academic and professional documents.
For Midwifery program, applicants should:
- Hold an A-level or high school diploma obtained within the last two years.
- Have at least two principal passes ( A,B or C), in Biology and Chemistry, and a subsidiary for Mathematics, Physics, or Geography, from combinations such as PCB, MCB, or BCG, or their equivalent.
- Foreign qualifications require NESA equivalency where applicable.
- Applicants should demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English.
For Residency programs, applicants should:
- Hold an accredited MBBS degree or equivalent qualification
- Have a valid licence to practise medicine
- Submit Higher Education Council (HEC) equivalency certificate for applicants with foreign qualifications, although provisional admission may be considered while this is being processed.
- Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in English
Applications must include a motivation letter, CV, degree, academic transcript, identification document, and valid medical licence and certificate of good conduct for the Residency program.
The selection process includes document screening, an admission examination, and an interview. International applicants complete the examination and interview online, while national applicants follow the locally communicated format.
Final decisions are made by the Admissions Committee in line with approved institutional procedures.
